Price Forecast
The future price of IMPORT Token is (in)directly linked to the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) allowance price, as CBAM certificates are priced based on the equivalent carbon cost of the EU ETS. The core price trajectory will depend on the evolution of the EU ETS market.
Two key factors influence the EU ETS price setting:
1) Market Demand: The price will be affected by how industries adapt to stricter carbon caps and demand for allowances.
2) Change in Allowance (EUA's) Supply: The EU tightens the supply of allowances under the EU ETS to incentivize decarbonization.
